Do I get extra benefits when I register my ISTQB exam through AT*SQA?
Yes. AT*SQA says it includes eight extra benefits with your ISTQB exam purchase at no extra cost.
What is included with the micro credential benefit?
With every ISTQB exam you receive one free AT*SQA software testing micro credential exam to validate specialty skills such as API or cloud testing and to show ongoing professional development.
What practical value does the free micro credential add?
The free micro credential lets you document an additional specialty area such as API or cloud testing at no extra cost. When you pass, it can also be added to your AT*SQA record and contribute points to your Testing Tiers ranking.
Will employers be able to find me after I pass?
After you pass, you may opt in through your AT*SQA account to appear in the ISTQB Successful Candidate Register and the Official U.S. List of Certified & Credentialed Software Testers™ that American companies consult.
I do not live in the United States, can I still appear to U.S. employers?
Yes. If you opt in through your AT*SQA account, you can appear on the Official U.S. List of Certified & Credentialed Software Testers™ even if you live outside the U.S., which can give you added visibility with American employers.
How does Testing Tiers add value after I pass?
Testing Tiers awards points for certifications, micro-credentials, and related training from ASTQB and AT*SQA. It gives employers another way to compare testing qualifications.
Can AT*SQA help me if I am looking for work now?
Yes. You may opt in to the AT*Work™ List of Testers for Hire so employers can find certified or credentialed testers seeking first roles, between jobs, or open to freelance work.
Is there a benefit for companies that offer testing or consulting services?
Yes. Your organization can be added to the AT*Consult™ List of Testing Services and Consulting Companies, helping project owners find credentialed expertise and aligning with RFP language that asks vendors to appear in the Official U.S. List.
What scheduling and delivery flexibility do I get?
You have up to 365 days to take your exam, and you can test online at home, at a test center, or on site at your company.
Can AT*SQA connect my result to LinkedIn?
Yes. After you pass, you can log in to your AT*SQA account, open My Certificates, and use the Add to LinkedIn button at no extra cost.
Are all of these benefits exclusive to AT*SQA?
Yes. The benefits listed above are described as available only through AT*SQA with your ISTQB exam purchase.
